Howard Russell is the CEO and Co-Founder of RBRO Solutions, a leading provider of business solutions, specializing in the legal, accounting, corporate governance and financial services industries. He has become well known and recognized as a visionary for his approach in helping medium, large and Fortune 500 companies increase efficiencies and achieve maximum value from their business content and processes.
Howard began his career as a software developer at one of North America's largest law firms. During his tenure he developed an acumen for building powerful—yet simple—applications. Over time, Howard became increasingly frustrated with the glaring lack of cohesive application integration capabilities and the lack of concern for how business users’ want and need to interact with business applications. Over the span of two decades, he has been the visionary behind numerous business solutions that increase business process efficiencies, empower business users, and provide tangible value.
A winner of ILTA's prestigious Consultant of the Year award, Howard readily shares his knowledge and experience as a member of the solutions’ community through panel dialogues, speaking engagements, education advisory councils and strategic client consulting. Howard is dedicated to corporate responsibility and serves on a variety of advisory committees including the University of Ontario Institute of Technology and the Centennial College technology advisory boards.
President
As President of the RBRO Solutions group of companies, Lyra is responsible for the overall corporate accounting and financial functions, including budgeting, business planning, billings, collections, accounts payable, payroll, taxation, variable compensation, procurement, facility management, board reporting and cash flow management. She helps manage the relationships with the auditors, ensures that management and risk controls are in place, and that the business is compliant with government statutory requirements.
Lyra works closely with the various department heads as a key business partner, and she is involved in various revenue maximization initiatives, cost optimization and continuous process improvements, as well as other initiatives to drive operating efficiencies.
Prior to joining RBRO, Lyra was the Finance Officer for ABS-CBN Corporation (Philippines), where she managed investor relations and the financial planning function. She assisted ABS-CBN expand into Canada. Prior to this role, she has held various senior finance positions in the areas of Investment analysis and market research with Credit Lyonnais Securities (France) and Swiss Bank Corporation (Switzerland). Lyra has a Bachelor of Arts, Economics Degree from University of Santo Tomas and is currently pursuing a Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
